A Testament to Excellence in Natural Capital Investment

The Agri Investor Global Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across firms, funds, deals, and exits[1]. Recognizing achievements in fund management, investment strategies, and impactful deals, these awards spotlight organizations that are shaping the future of natural capital investment. Climate Asset Management’s performance across multiple categories reinforces its reputation as a driving force in aligning investment with nature-positive outcomes.

Key Milestones That Drove Success

Final Close of Natural Capital Fund and Nature-Based Carbon Fund: In September 2024, Climate Asset Management successfully raised over $1 billion across its two natural capital strategies (Natural Capital Fund and Nature-Based Carbon Fund) from a diverse range of institutional and corporates investors globally, marking a significant milestone for the firm.

Commitment to TNFD Disclosures: In January 2024, Climate Asset Management became a TNFD Early Adopter, committing to align its fund reporting with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) recommendations by the financial year 2025.

Strategic Land Acquisition to Enhance Ecosystem Services: Climate Asset Management continues to deploy capital from its Natural Capital Fund into regenerative agriculture and sustainable forestry projects worldwide. Notable investments include:

  • Iberian Farmland Acquisition: The acquisition of 1,900 hectares of farmland from Borges Agricultural & Industrial Nuts will transition to regenerative management practices, with over 10% of the land managed specifically for biodiversity restoration.
  • World’s Largest Macadamia Orchard: By converting 8,500 hectares of degraded pastureland into a sustainable agroforestry system, this initiative aims to restore soil health, enhance biodiversity, and support local communities by creating employment opportunities and contributing to long-term climate resilience.
