Alejandro Tobon-Amaya
Alejandro Tobon-Amaya
Associate, Investments

Alejandro has six years of experience in investment banking, private equity, and investing. Alejandro started his career working in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets covering financial institutions in the US. He subsequently joined Citigroup, where he covered sectors such as telecom, infrastructure, and consumer and retail across Latin America. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, he worked for an EdTech start-up based out of Beijing and Singapore. Alejandro holds a BBA in Finance and Investments from the City University of New York, Baruch College and an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London.

Alex Healey
Investment Manager

Alex has eight years of experience in private equity, development finance, and investment banking. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, Alex held investment roles at RRG Capital Management and Acumen Capital Partners, where he also supported the development and launch of new investment strategies focused to climate change adaptation and mitigation across the agriculture and energy sectors. Alex began his career as an investment banker in JP Morgan’s Power & Renewables coverage group.

Alex holds master’s degrees in Environmental Management and Business Administration from Yale University and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Amherst College.

Anabella Rodriguez
Investment Associate

Anabella has over five years' experience in real estate asset management and project finance. She started her career working in real estate private equity across several US geographies including Florida, South Carolina and Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management as a Summer Associate in 2023, Anabella worked on a number of large-scale mixed-use development projects at EDENS, a US-based retail REIT, helping develop the firm’s sustainability strategy and subsequently joined a London-based sustainability consultancy.

As Investment Associate, Anabella's prime focus is on fundraising and capital deployment for the Nature Based Carbon Strategy, with particular emphasis on NbS in LATAM. Anabella holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Florida International University and a MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College Business School awarded with distinction.

Andrea Abrahams

Independent Chair of NBCF Investment Committee

Andrea is managing director of Voluntary Carbon Markets (VCM) at the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) where she manages the VCM policy and advocacy, the ICROA Accreditation Programme, and supports the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM). She has recently been appointed as an independent chair of the Investment Committee for Climate Asset Management’s Nature Based Carbon Fund.​

Further, Andrea works as an independent advisor to support companies with their net zero strategies. Pro bono work includes mentorship for the Creative Destruction Lab (Oxford University chapter), a start-up accelerator. ​

Previously Andrea worked for bp as the Director Energy Transition where she played a central role in developing and driving bp’s net zero ambition. This included supporting the Downstream executive and bp main board in defining decarbonising pathways to achieve net zero, understanding climate risks, reporting (ESG) and implementing targets. Driving the energy transition, Andrea established cross-business governance, performance management and GHG measurement processes. ​

As head of bp Target Neutral, Andrea led a world-class voluntary carbon market programme developing carbon reduction and offsetting programmes for bp and its customers. Working with NGOs and industry associations, her team developed many industry firsts including offsetting programmes for the London Olympics & Paralympics and FIFA Brazil World cup.​

Previously Andrea was instrumental in setting up bp’s Strategic Partnering business establishing 20 global strategic collaborations with many of the world’s largest corporations.

Andrew Ackon

Management Accountant

Andrew is a CIMA-qualified Management Accountant with over nine years of experience in financial services and asset management. He currently works at Climate Asset Management, where he contributes to finance operations and strategic reporting. Prior to this, Andrew was at Capital Dynamics, a global asset manager specialising in private assets, where he supported finance operations across multiple international entities, including GP structures. He led initiatives in management reporting, month-end close, audit preparation, and fund revenue allocations.

Earlier in his career, Andrew spent five years at S&P Global (formerly IHS Markit) as a Senior Accountant, focusing on revenue accounting, financial controls, and systems migration projects. Andrew holds a BSc in Mathematics with Finance from the University of Southampton and brings a strong analytical foundation to his work, combining technical expertise with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Andrew Dyson
Chair of the Board

Andrew Dyson was appointed non-executive chair of Climate Asset Management Limited’s board in September 2024. He has more than 35 years’ experience in asset management and institutional investment consultancy.
Andrew was formerly Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PGIM Quantitative Solutions, a $120 billion asset manager, between 2017 and 2022. Previously he has held senior roles at AMG, Blackrock and William M. Mercer in both the UK and USA. He is currently a non-executive director of Adjuvo Network Limited and of New Change FX.
Andrew holds a master’s degree in mathematics from Trinity College, Cambridge.

Ben Caldwell

Associate Director, Asset Management

Ben brings over 15 years of experience in natural capital, forestry, carbon markets and sustainable agriculture. He applies his technical expertise, global experience and senior leadership background to deliver investment solutions that generate returns for investors and nature - enhancing ecosystems, protecting biodiversity and accelerating the transition to net zero.

Ben has managed multi-million-dollar portfolios across more than 20 countries, led audits, designed and implemented forest carbon projects, and co-authored carbon accounting methodologies under leading international standards.
Ben holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management and a Master’s in Forestry from the University of California, Berkeley. Originally from California, he has lived in six countries across four continents.

Ben O'Donnell
Chief Investment Officer

Ben has over 20 years’ experience in funds management and investment banking, with deep experience across a range of natural capital assets. Ben became CIO at CAM in June 2024, prior to which he led the establishment of CAM’s Natural Capital Strategy, overseeing the deployment of more than $350 million of capital into a diverse portfolio of Natural Capital assets.

Previously Ben worked in agriculture funds management at Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), and was a key contributor to more than doubling the AUM of the Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Agriculture platform to A$2.7b. Prior to working in MAM Ben led food and agriculture coverage within Macquarie Capital, advising on more than A$4 billion of transactions.

Analyst, Sustainability

Bethany (Beth) joined Climate Asset Management as a Team Assistant in June 2023. She holds an MSci in Earth Sciences from University College London, where she focused on the impacts and mitigation strategies of climate change. During her studies, she spent time at University of California Berkeley, further developing her understanding of global environmental challenges and climate policy.

Bola Agbola
Product Operations Associate

Bola is a member of the operations team, responsible for management of Product Operations and Finance for the Natural Capital Strategy. He has over 14 years' experience working in the finance sector and is a qualified accountant.

Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, Bola was Finance Manager at Verod Capital Management Limited, an Africa-focused Private Equity and Venture Capital Firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. Previously he worked in Resilient Africa and KPMG.

Bola is a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analysts Association (CAIA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He graduated in Economics (BSc) from Babcock University, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Bru Gramona
Investment Associate

Bru has five years of private equity and investment banking experience, and is closely involved with his family business, a Spanish wine estate which has adopted organic and biodynamic agricultural practices. He started his career at CAPZA, investing in small- and mid-market companies through Private Equity and Growth Capital strategies. Subsequently he joined the investment banking division of HSBC, working in M&A advisory for large-cap Private Equity clients. Having held various roles in his family wine estate “Gramona”, Bru continues to be engaged attending board meetings.

Bru holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master in Finance from ESADE Business School (Barcelona).

Carl Atkin-House
Managing Director, Natural Capital Strategy

Carl has over 25 years of investing, consulting, management and brokerage experience across agriculture and land-based assets. He joined Climate Asset Management in October 2022, initially to lead on regenerative agriculture and took over as overall Strategy Lead in July 2024. He has responsibility for strategy, pipeline, deal management and transaction execution for the Natural Capital Strategy investing in a diversified portfolio of regenerative agriculture and sustainable forestry assets across North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to CAM, he co-founded and led a boutique global agribusiness investment consulting business for more than 10 years, and before that was a partner in the agribusiness team at Bidwells. Carl has worked on a diverse array of projects in the natural capital space ranging from managing farms, leading investment into a variety of land-based assets including row crops in Europe, dairying in Russia and permanent crops in Australia, improving supply chain competitiveness and sustainability to helping one of the world’s largest farming companies’ restructure.

Carl holds a first-class Honours degree in agriculture from Newcastle University and a Master in Business Administration. He is also a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv).

Caspar Bossom
Associate, Capital Solutions

Caspar has over five years' experience in climate advisory and investment, specialising in mobilising private sector investment for climate and nature-based solutions. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, Caspar worked at Pollination, where he led initiatives to drive capital for renewable energy, electric mobility, water treatment, and green hydrogen in India. He also worked in carbon project development at Treeconomy and undertook climate risk analysis on the extractives sector at ERM.

Caspar served for six years as an Officer in the British Army, leading bomb-disposal teams in West Africa and the Middle East. He holds a BA in Environment & Business from the University of Leeds, an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College Business School, and the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Council on Strategic Risk.

Associate Director, Portfolio Finance

Cédric brings over 15 years of experience in the asset management industry. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, he led the finance department at BlueBay Funds Management Company, a Luxembourg management company/AIFM overseeing approx. USD 30 billion in fixed income investment vehicles. He began his career at PwC Luxembourg as a financial auditor.

Cédric holds a graduate diploma in Public Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from HEC Montréal.
Originally from a farming background in France, where his family grew wheat, barley and canola, Cédric developed an early appreciation for agriculture - learning to drive tractors at a young age and still considering harvest time his favourite season.

Associate Director, Operations

Clare brings more than a decade of experience across strategy, operations, consulting and policy to support CAM in shaping and executing its strategic priorities. She enjoys bringing together people and ideas with operational detail to deliver impact. Immediately prior to CAM, Clare was Advisory Operations Director at Pollination, helping drive the professionalisation of its operating model and embedding change. Clare has attained executive education in Business Strategy and Finance Performance from INSEAD, a First Class degree from the University of Cambridge and a Masters from LSE.

Dáire Brady
Associate, Investments

Dáire has experience in real asset and private markets investing and is currently an Associate at Climate Asset Management. In his role, Dáire supports deal origination, diligence and transaction execution across the firm’s Natural Capital Strategy and Carbon Strategies. His work spans a range of global nature-based investment opportunities, including sustainable forestry, regenerative agriculture, and ecosystem restoration.

Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, Dáire was with Stafford Capital Partners, a global alternatives investment manager focused on real assets and private markets, where he focused on primaries, secondaries and co-investments in infrastructure, timberland, private equity and private debt.
Previously, he worked in an ESG-focused private equity firm and a global farmland fund.

Dáire holds an MSc in Finance (First Class Honours) from Imperial College Business School, specializing in private markets and alternative investments, and a B.AgrSc (First Class Honours) from University College Dublin.

Dominic Diggins

Dominic is responsible for managing all aspects of the technology and solutions at Climate Asset Management with particular focus on the evolution of the Target Operating Model and Data Strategy.

Dominic has over 25 years' experience in Financial Services working across Asset Management & Private Equity, leading enterprise programmes of work to deliver business transformation and digital enablement.

Fanny Castaneda
Fanny Castaneda
Associate Director, Tax & Structuring

Fanny has over 12 years of experience in international tax, with a strong focus on tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. Prior to her current role, she served as Senior Manager in Tax Compliance at King Street Capital Management. She also worked in tax consulting and transfer pricing at Big Four firms, advising multinational corporations on tax restructuring and M&A transactions. Her experience spans the fund industry and corporate tax across Luxembourg, Belgium, and Mexico. Fanny holds a Master’s degree in International Taxation from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Outside of work, she is passionate about fitness—she enjoys running and has completed several half-marathons, and she actively practices CrossFit.

Gavin Martin
Associate Director, Finance

Gavin has over a decade of experience within the financial services sector, most recently having spent two years at Permira as the Financial Controller looking after corporate financial reporting for the private credit business. Prior to this, he spent six years at Global Prime Partners (now part of Titan Wealth Group) where, as Financial Controller, Gavin managed the financial reporting team during a period of rapid growth and change which saw the business double in size. Gavin is ACCA qualified accountant.

Greg brings 12 years of experience in impact investing, sustainable land management and rural development. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, he was part of the investment team at Terra Global Capital, where he sourced and prepared nature-based solutions projects for investment, managed a portfolio of active NBS investments, and contributed to the launch of a Global South-focused fund as well as new capital partnerships.

Earlier in his career, Greg worked on natural capital investment and philanthropic strategies spanning regenerative agriculture, forest conservation and fisheries. He also served as the founding Director of Conservation at the Reserva Ecológica Panamaes in Panama.

Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Business from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oxford.

Haniah Daranijo

Associate, People, Culture & Wellbeing

Haniah brings over four years’ experience working in the HR, People and Culture space. She previously worked at McDonald’s Global Franchising Limited as a HR intern in their head office and, most recently, she worked as a People & Culture Associate Advisor at Seven Investment Management (7IM). Her strong generalist HR background and a passion for creating positive and inclusive employee experiences makes her a great addition to the People team.

During her time at 7IM, Haniah focused on mergers and acquisitions, successfully implementing people processes across multiple entities, while maintaining a balance between alignment with individuality. This experience uniquely positions her to support the growth trajectory here at CAM.

Haniah holds a BSc in Economics and Management and is currently completing her CIPD Level 5 Diploma.

Irina Frolova
Independent Chair of NCF Investment Committee

Irina brings over 20 years of international experience in investment management, project and corporate finance. She is independent chair of the Natural Capital Fund investment committee. Most recently Irina worked at PGGM, the Dutch pension fund investment manager, where she was a longstanding member of the investment committee of the PGGM Infrastructure Fund. She also led asset management and, most recently, headed up the infrastructure team. Irina is a recognised expert and adviser in private markets, responsible investing and governance with non-executive board positions at GlobalVia - global mobility and concession business, HZPC - global market leader in seed potato trading and Stockholm Exergi - Stockholm’s energy company providing heating, cooling, electricity and waste management. Irina is a CFA charterholder since 2005 and is certified in corporate governance (IDP-C) at INSEAD.

James Bullen
Managing Director, Asset Management

James has over 25 years extensive experience in investment and operational management of large-scale, certified forestry projects in developed and emerging economies.
Prior to heading up Asset Management team at Climate Asset Management James lead the Forestry Investment strategy for NCF . Prior to working at Climate Asset Management, James spent 14 years at New Forests Asset Management, where he held multiple regional director roles in Australia, Asia and the US, including oversight of operations across carbon offset projects and sustainably managed forests.

James' unique background has focused on driving silvicultural and business improvements in large-scale and complex assets; he takes pride in working together with local forestry teams to deliver improved forest productivity and forest health alongside meaningful environmental and social benefits.

Jed Ubaldo

Analyst, Investments

Jed has over three years of experience across investment banking and nature-based solutions investing. He is a member of the investment team at Climate Asset Management, where he supports on the deployment of capital through the Carbon Nature Fund. In this role, Jed focuses on identifying and structuring high-quality opportunities that deliver both strong financial returns and measurable environmental outcomes.

He joined Climate Asset Management from Revalue, a ClimateTech start-up dedicated to co-developing large-scale nature-based carbon projects. There, he focused on investment analysis for projects across the Global South, including a US$50 million reforestation initiative in West Africa. His work involved assessing project feasibility, financial structuring, and long-term climate impact, helping to bring forward initiatives that contribute to global decarbonisation and biodiversity goals.

Jed began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs in London, where he worked on more than US$1 billion of renewable energy transactions globally. This experience provided a strong foundation in financial analysis, deal execution, and capital raising across complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

He holds a BSc in Mathematics with First Class Honours from University College London.

Jiacheng (Jack) Chen
Quantitative Researcher

Jiacheng has over 3 years' experience in equity analysis, portfolio management, and quantitative modeling. He is now a Ph.D. candidate, with a research interest in climate finance.

Before joining Climate Asset Management, Jiacheng was at the Singularity Group, an investment company based in Zurich, building experience in quantitative equity strategy. He also accumulated some experience with derivatives and trading in the top-tier fund management and securities companies in China.

Jiacheng holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics from Beijing Normal University and a joint MSc in quantitative finance from ETH Zurich and University of Zurich. He is a CFA charter holder and holds an FRM certificate.

Julia Azevedo
Director, Capital Solutions

Julia Azevedo leads capital formation and product strategy for CAM’s real-assets Natural Capital platform, bringing over fifteen years of experience in managing and developing tailored solutions for institutional capital across the natural resources space—including agriculture, inputs, micronutrients, logistics, and sustainable energy. She oversees product development, distribution, marketing, investor relations, and client data management, and business development for CAM’s Natural Capital Strategy.

Prior to joining CAM, Julia was an investment professional at AMERRA Capital Management LLC in New York, where she spent seven years focusing on private debt and equity in Latin America, while also liaising with investors and clients. She previously held roles in Investor Relations at SLC Agricola, one of the world’s largest listed agricultural companies, and contributed to the Clinton Global Initiative’s Food Systems and Market-Based Approaches programs.

Julia holds a degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul and a Master of International Finance from Columbia University.

Julia Kachynska
Director, Investments

Julia is an investment professional with over 15 years’ experience in impact investing, climate finance and investment management across emerging and developed markets. She is dedicated to delivering positive environmental impact alongside strong financial returns.

Before joining Climate Asset Management, Julia was Global Director of Structuring at South Pole, where she led the development of innovative investment vehicles for carbon and nature-based solutions projects, and executed investments in voluntary and Article 6 carbon markets. She also served as Director of Responsible Investing at IFM Investors, where she designed and implemented ESG management processes across infrastructure equity and debt, and advanced the firm’s compliance with EU SFDR requirements.

Earlier, as Principal Banker in the Sustainable Infrastructure Group at the EBRD, Julia financed sustainable infrastructure projects designed to support Paris Agreement goals. During her tenure at the EBRD, Julia was a member of the FIN-SMART Steering Committee, working with the International Maritime Organization and the World Bank on financial solutions to decarbonise global shipping by 2050. Earlier in her career, Julia held investment banking and advisory roles at Renaissance Capital, KPMG Advisory, and other financial institutions, contributing to major capital markets and structured finance transactions across Africa, the CIS and Central Europe.

Julia holds a Master’s in Finance and Accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics, is a CFA charter holder since 2010, and has earned the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Kanika Sharma

Associate Director, Marketing and Communications

Kanika brings over nine years' experience in product marketing and communications, including more than six years specialising in Climate and ESG product marketing. She has successfully developed and executed global go-to-market strategies, managed cross-functional teams, and transformed complex sustainability solutions into clear, impactful messaging. Kanika has a proven track record of leveraging data-driven insights to optimise marketing efforts, and drive sustainability-focused initiatives.

Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, she led global marketing campaigns at MSCI’s ESG & Climate division, managing product launches and strategic media efforts.
Kanika holds a Master’s in Marketing and Communication and a second Master’s in Climate Change Management and Finance from Imperial College London.

Manon Mura
Director, Capital Solutions

Manon Mura has over a decade of experience in multinational innovation strategies, with a strong focus on sustainable growth, climate change, and nature-based solutions. For the past four years, Manon has been leading fundraising efforts at Climate Asset Management, where she currently heads distribution efforts across the platform for FRBENELUX regions and, engaging both institutional and corporate investors. She also manages investor relations and drives new business development initiatives, tailoring natural capital investment solutions to strategic investor needs.

Prior to joining CAM, Manon spent six years at Danone as a Sustainability Integration Manager, spearheading low-carbon transition strategies. She then joined Hermès International as a Sustainability Program Leader, where she focused on climate risk analysis and corporate biodiversity footprinting.

Manon holds dual MSc degrees in engineering and business, and completed her MBA at INSEAD in 2021, to apply her unique set of skills to bridge impact and asset management.

Marc Jones

Director, Capital Solutions

Marc has over 15 years’ experience in private equity, impact investing and agricultural entrepreneurship. Before joining Climate Asset Management, Marc was Managing Director of Wildfarming, a regenerative agriculture start-up, which supports the transition to sustainable farming practices.

Prior to that Marc spent a decade living and working in sub-Saharan Africa. Initially as an investment Manager at ManoCap, a multi-sector fund which makes equity investments in west Africa. Following that he was a Senior Investment Manager at AgDevCo, a pan-African specialist investor in agribusiness. Marc began his career at UBS Investment Bank in New York and London.

Marc has an MA in Economics from Glasgow University and an MSc in International Trade, Finance and Development from the Barcelona School of Economics.

Maria Gonzalez Senac
Manager, Asset Management

Maria has over six years of experience in project finance and M&A advisory across developed and emerging economies and is currently an investment manager for CAM’s Natural Capital Strategy. In her role, Maria supported with the deployment of the first vintage of the Natural Capital Fund and oversees the performance of the portfolio.

Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, Maria worked for the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private-sector arm of the World Bank Group. As part of IFC’s Global Energy and Mining teams, she worked on project and corporate finance transactions in emerging economies, with a focus on impact investing. Previously, Maria worked at Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking division, where she gained experience in M&A advisory in the infrastructure sector.

Maria holds a Master’s degree in Finance from London Business School and a double Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and International Relations from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Spain).

Maria joined Climate Asset Management in 2024 as Office Manager, bringing over 20 years of business support experience. She has spent the past decade working within the financial services sector, following earlier roles in finance and IT recruitment.

Maria has extensive expertise in executive support, office and operational management, and stakeholder coordination. She has successfully managed flagship company events and team offsites, ensuring seamless delivery and high professional standards. Known for her hands-on approach, Maria excels at creating well-run, efficient office environments and supporting senior teams effectively.

She is recognised for her strong time management, calm and practical approach to situation management, and consistent focus on getting work done to a high standard.

Marthe Tollenaar
Director, Asset Management

Marthe has 15 years’ experience in forestry, agriculture and nature-based solutions, and in that time has worked all over the world in Europe, Latin America and Asia, with a focus on emerging markets. As Senior Asset Manager Carbon, based in our Amsterdam office, Marthe focuses on managing our growing global portfolio of carbon projects. She monitors and supports the portfolio investments to deliver on their carbon, financial, and impact commitments.

Her invaluable hands-on experience with large scale institutional projects especially in Africa and Asia, means she will be able to apply her insights, experience and expertise to creating optimal value for our LPs. A biologist by training, her career has been forged at New Forests Asia, Trees for All and most recently at SAIL Investments, where she was responsible for managing and monitoring the performance of the &Green Fund’s portfolio of agri-commodity companies. Prior to that, she was based in Singapore, managing the portfolio of New Forests’ Tropical Asia Forest Fund.

Marthe holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Environmental Biology from Utrecht University.

Martijn Wilder
Board Member

Martijn is a founding partner of Pollination and a leading expert in climate law, policy and finance. Martijn was head of Baker & McKenzie’s global climate law and finance practice for 20 years and has played a key role with Australia’s clean energy finance institutions including as Chair of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and former Board Member of CEFC. He helped establish and later Chair the Federal Government’s Low Carbon Australia finance body.

With a background in economics and law, Martijn is focused on developing innovative polices, ideas and investments that enable our economies to rapidly transition to net zero. Over the years he has worked extensively on working with clients climate strategies, TCFD and climate investments.

Martijn is currently President of WWF-Australia and Chair of NSW Climate Change Council and the Pollination Foundation. He is Adjunct Professor of International Climate Change Law at Australian National University, a Director of the Climate Council, and a Member of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists.

Martin Berg
Chief Executive Officer

Martin has over 20 years’ experience in climate and environmental investment, with a particular focus on natural capital and carbon finance. As CEO of Climate Asset Management, Martin leads the strategic vision, operations, and growth of the company, which has raised over $1bn million across two investment strategies from both institutional and corporate investors.

Previously, Martin was a Partner at Pollination, where he played a key role in forming the joint venture with HSBC. His career also includes senior roles focussing on low-carbon infrastructure, natural capital and carbon finance at the European Investment Bank and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as well as positions at the OECD, RNK Capital and the UNFCCC.

Martin is passionate about mobilising finance at scale for investment opportunities that preserve, protect, and enhance nature, reduce carbon emissions, and address climate change while delivering risk-adjusted returns to institutional and corporate investors.

Megan Reilly Cayten
Managing Director, Carbon Strategy

Megan has 25+ years of experience in real asset development (AES Corporation, $1bn project value), project finance (Citi, $8bn aggregate transactions) and investment management (Alinda Capital Partners) on 5 continents.

Megan leads the carbon vehicles created by Climate Asset Management for a range of corporate and other clients, including Apple. She previously managed investments in carbon and other ecosystem services markets and served as the impact lead for the Natural Capital Fund.

Prior to joining CAM, Megan co-developed the largest wind farm in the Caribbean with Javelin Capital and served as blue carbon lead for Oceans 2050, a foundation created by Alexandra Cousteau and Dr. Carlos Duarte. Ms. Cayten is an adviser to the Fondo Mexicano para la Conservacion de la Naturaleza and is on the National Council of World Wildlife Fund.

Michelle Hilliman
Board Member

Michelle Hilliman is Head of Responsible Investment & Strategy at HSBC Alternatives. Prior to returning to HSBC in 2020, Michelle was involved in several early-stage financial inclusion projects, including a non-profit creating digital solutions for frontier markets. During her previous seven years with HSBC Global Asset Management in Hong Kong, she held a number of roles including Head of Strategy, Asia Pacific and Head of Multimanager, Asia Pacific & Emerging Markets, where she was responsible for management of the Asia Pacific and Global Emerging Markets team and products. Michelle also worked for UBS Global Asset Management, Northern Trust Global Advisors, the multi-manager arm of Northern Trust, and as a financial advisor for TD Canada Trust.

She holds a Master in Business Administration from Columbia University, London Business School and University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry from Queen’s University. She is a CFA charter holder and has the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and the CFA Certificate in Climate and Investing and completed the Imperial Sustainability Leadership Programme in March 2023.

Mohammad Suffee
Analyst, Finance

Mohammad joined the corporate accounting team at Climate Asset Management in 2024. He has four years’ experience in finance, most recently at Richard Mille EMEA Ltd, where he was finance assistant with responsibility for day to day accounting of various subsidiaries as well as day to day finance operations. Before that he was finance apprentice at Charlotte Tilbury. He is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) currently studying for Level 4.

Navid Fathollahzadeh
Navid Fathollahzadeh
Director, Tax & Structuring

Navid manages the tax function at Climate Asset Management, bringing more than eight years of experience focused on tax planning around the structuring of investment funds, cross-border transactions and associated platforms. Prior to his current role, Navid served as VP, Tax Structuring & Head of Luxembourg Operations at Heimstaden, where, following a six-month tenure in London as Regional Tax Manager, he spearheaded the establishment of their Luxembourg office. Before that he worked for Blackstone European real estate business, participating in the growth from €1bn to €21bn AUM of Mileway, largest last mile logistics portfolio in Europe, handling tax matters. Navid started his career at KPMG, providing tax advisory services for real estate funds. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International & European Tax Law from Maastricht University.

Oliver Crouch
Manager, Investments

Oliver has over 20 years of experience in environmental markets, spanning the project-based carbon market and the energy sector. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, he originated and diligenced a multi-million-tonne portfolio of carbon credits at Climate Impact Partners, verified under standards including Verra, Gold Standard, ACR, and CAR, across the full spectrum of nature-based methodologies.

He also led a team responsible for the carbon asset development and verification of community-based and household-device projects in Kenya, India, and Guatemala.

Earlier in his career, Oliver held roles at J.P. Morgan and Accenture focused on the energy sector, and more recently served as a board member of RECS—the energy certificate association. He has built a career around, and remains focused on, scaling market-based instruments to mitigate climate change.

Oliver holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Bath and the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

Oliver Johnson
Managing Director, Sustainability

Oliver has more than 12 years’ experience in ESG assessment and management.

Prior to joining Climate Asset Management in March 2021, Oliver led the development and implementation of leading ESG management frameworks at ARCH Emerging Markets Partners, a private equity firm, and at eleQtra, an infrastructure developer.

Oliver’s prior experience includes leading ESG assessments for DAR Group, an engineering firm and working at the European Investment Bank developing and implementing the Bank’s Climate Action Strategy.

Parisa Rahnama
Manager, Investments

Parisa has ten years of experience across corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and debt capital markets. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management in March 2021, Parisa worked at Monaco Resources Group as an investment analyst sourcing, analysing and executing large-scale acquisitions in the infrastructure, industrial and commodities sectors.

Parisa previously co-founded a UK food and agriculture fintech platform. In 2020, she spent a year in South Africa where she researched climate change investment opportunities, biodiversity and nature conservation.

Parisa is a CFA charter holder and holds an MBA from Leeds University Business School.

Parit Shah
Director, Capital Solutions

Parit manages the product development and structuring of investment solutions at Climate Asset Management. He has over 15 years of experience in financial services including 13 years of experience in structuring, implementing, and managing asset management solutions. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management in May 2021, Parit was a Director at Commerzbank AG, responsible for the product development and portfolio management of structured solutions through a broad range of collective investment vehicles. During his time at Commerzbank AG he helped grow the asset management business from €1bn to €15bn AUM, before it was successfully sold to Lyxor Asset Management in 2019 where he continued this role. Parit holds a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College, London and a MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School.

Pedro Soares
Pedro Soares
Manager, Investments

Pedro is a leading expert in forest-based carbon and sustainable land-use solutions, with over 14 years of experience developing REDD+, agroforestry, and ecological restoration projects across tropical forest countries. At Climate Asset Management, he serves as Asset Manager for the carbon portfolio, overseeing investments that deliver both climate and community impact.

Previously, Pedro was Carbon Portfolio Manager at Hartree Partners and Carbon Technical and Policy Lead at Mirova. He played a pioneering role in Brazil’s first nature-based insetting program with Natura Cosmetics and in the development of the world’s first indigenous REDD+ project. His contributions also extend to international climate policy, including active participation in UNFCCC negotiations and service on Brazil’s national REDD+ Commission.

Pedro holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and a master’s in Applied Ecology from the ‘Luiz de Queiroz’ School of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP), Brazil

Phoebe Scott
Associate, Investments

Phoebe has six years' experience in investment banking, nature based solutions investing & climate advisory. Phoebe is focused on Climate Asset Management’s Nature Based Carbon Strategy, having worked across portfolio sourcing & development, asset management & fundraising. She recently undertook a secondment in the Advisory team at Pollination in Sydney, Australia where she worked on multiple projects across financial carbon advisory, climate strategy and renewable energy. Before joining Climate Asset Management in 2021, Phoebe worked in Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank, concentrating on Equity Capital Markets transactions in EMEA, covering a variety of sectors.

Phoebe is a founding member of Women in Carbon, a networking initiative with several global chapters, which aims to empower and amplify the voices of women in the Carbon industry. She holds an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College Business School, and a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.

Rachel Tsang

Director, Company Secretary

Rachel is a chartered corporate governance professional with over 11 years experience in corporate governance working both in-house and in professional services as a company secretary both in the UK and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, Rachel was a Senior Assistant Company Secretary at Octopus Investments managing all matters corporate governance-related for a large fast-paced portfolio of funds, working on large multimillion pound deals acquiring and selling renewable energy assets both onshore and offshore. Rachel has also worked for international law firms managing clients' corporate governance matters and working on corporate transactions. Rachel is an Associate Member of the Corporate Governance Institute UK & Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Laws in Law with American Studies from the University of Sussex. At CAM, Rachel sits within the Legal team and manages the Board and Committees and CAM corporate governance matters. She also oversees all the corporate governance and administration matters in the funds managed by CAM.

Rafael Roca
Technical Adviser

Rafael has 14 years of experience working across industries in sustainability related topics. His career has spanned across a variety of roles within the private and non-profit sector across the globe. This includes being a Manager for McKinsey & Company in Latam, leading Earthshot Labs Operations team, founding Rocket Internet’s investment sustainability arm, managing a 40+ team in Delterra with focus on waste management in SEA, and working and advising organizations such as The Nature Conservancy, Forest Trends, Enel, Wollemi Capital and Bluelayer. His track record includes advising on $350m+ of nature-based restoration and conservation projects and having his own ARR project in his native Peru. Rafael holds an MBA and Master of Environmental Science from Yale University, and a Forestry Engineering degree from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Peru

Renata Campos

Renata has over six years of experience in private equity, asset management, and investment banking. Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, she was an associate in M&A advisory at Goldman Sachs in London, focusing on real estate in EMEA. Renata began her career in real estate acquisitions in Brazil and then transitioned to asset management, where she managed a US$300 million portfolio of real estate funds in Brazil and the UK. She holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo.

Samantha Jarrett
Executive Assistant

Samantha has 14 years' experience in support functions and nine years' experience supporting C-suite across asset management, private equity, real estate and fintech. Samantha joined Climate Asset Management in 2021 and is Executive Assistant to the CEO, CIO and COO.

Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, Samantha was EA to the CEO at a commercial real estate firm with a focus on sustainable developments, environmental performance and recycled and natural materials. Samantha spent eight years at French private equity house Ardian working with the legal, compliance and risk support teams as well as the buyout, fund of funds, infrastructure and private debt investment teams.

Sarah Gledhill
Chief Operating Officer

Sarah has over 25 years’ experience within Finance, Risk and Operations, the last two decades within Investment Management.

Sarah was appointed COO in January 2024, following over 17 years at InfraRed Capital Partners, where she held leadership roles for Finance, Risk, Technology, Operations and Sustainability, and where she established a Portfolio Impact Strategy across a portfolio of 200+ infrastructure assets, going beyond contractual requirements and creating better futures for surrounding communities.

At CAM, Sarah has focused on embedding governance, enhancing cost control, and scaling operational capabilities. She is instrumental in aligning CAM’s platform with investor expectations and regulatory standards, while fostering a culture of accountability and delivery. Earlier in her career Sarah worked at HSBC Asset Management and Ernst and Young and holds a FCA from ICAEW and a Geography degree from the University of Birmingham.

Sisa Sibanda

Sisa has over 15 years’ experience in HR across the legal and financial sectors. She is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the firm, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, organisational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.

Prior to joining Climate Asset Management, Sisa was HR Director at private equity firm, Castlelake with responsibility for leading HR for Europe and Asia. Sisa holds a MA in human resource management from London Metropolitan University and a BSc in Psychology from University College London. Sisa is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Tasha Lea

Tasha is a Legal Associate at Climate Asset Management, with over six years of legal and advisory experience in climate and nature-based solutions investment and environmental markets. At CAM, Tasha primarily works alongside investment teams to manage deployment of capital into high quality carbon and natural capital projects, including conducting legal due diligence, transaction structuring, legal negotiations and advising on domestic and international regulatory requirements for projects.

Prior to CAM, Tasha worked on nature strategy and investment advisory services at Pollination Capital Partners in Sydney, and climate and emissions trading law at a leading New Zealand law firm. She holds an LLB (Hons) and an LLM (with Excellence) in Environment and Sustainable Development. Tasha also sits on the Board of a NGO distributing small scale micro-finance to communities in Myanmar.

Tom Coton
Director, Finance

As Head of Finance, Tom leads both the corporate and product finance teams. Tom joined Climate Asset Management in 2021 and has been actively involved in establishing and operating the funds while building out the finance and operations functions. Prior to joining the business, Tom was Chief of Staff at Private Equity manager, Terra Firma. He also has significant experience managing the Private Equity department at a fund administrator, Langham Hall and as a financial auditor with Kingston Smith. Tom is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at Durham University.

Tripurari Prasad
Director, Deputy Head of Carbon

Tripurari brings over 18 years of expertise spanning carbon markets, nature‑based solutions, and the oil & gas sectors, with a strong track record of leading high‑impact carbon investments across global markets. At Climate Asset Management, he is a Deputy Head of Carbon in the Carbon team, where he leads strategy, fund deployment, and portfolio development for the carbon strategies, focusing on high‑integrity mitigation and removal projects globally.

Before joining Climate Asset Management, Tripurari served as the Global Director of Carbon Solutions at HSBC. In this role, he built and led the group’s global carbon procurement and trading strategy, with a particular focus on nature‑based solutions and advanced technical removals.

His career also includes senior leadership positions at South Pole and Shell, where he managed multi‑million‑dollar investment pipelines, executed acquisitions, and structured innovative financing models to accelerate the development of carbon projects in emerging markets. Among his notable achievements are pioneering early blue carbon initiatives and facilitating the world’s first Article 6.2 (ITMO) transaction between Switzerland and Thailand for Nationally Determined Contributions. He was recently recognised as Investment Leader of the Year at the Sustainable Investment Awards 2025.

Tripurari serves on the advisory board of Social Carbon and as an Expert Advisor to Verra. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and a bachelor's degree in engineering.

Twinkle Malhan
Associate, Investments

Twinkle has over six years of experience, working at the intersection of impact investing and sustainable finance. She currently supports the origination and execution of investments in Nature Based Solutions (NbS) through the Nature Based Carbon Strategy at Climate Asset Management.

Early in her career, she worked in an advisory capacity with a Chief Minister (Head of a State Government )in India and supported the Strategy team at Omidyar Network , an impact-focused venture capital firm (AUM US$600M) set up by Pierre Omidyar- the founder of eBay. She went on to work with Sarona Asset Management, a Canadian Fund-of-Funds investor and conducted due diligence on their investments in South-East Asia and Latin America. As Winner of the Turner-MIINT at The Wharton School (U-Penn), she led a seed investment into an Indian health-tech company through the Wharton ESG Initiative and Bridges Impact Ventures. Twinkle holds a BA (Honours) in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Oxford.

Varnika Chawla
Director, Legal

Varnika leads the legal function at Climate Asset Management, and is responsible the legal aspects of CAM’s investment strategies across fund formation, capital deployment and asset management. A dual-qualified solicitor in India and England & Wales, Varnika combines her experience in India with her expertise in structuring and deploying over USD 10 billion into sustainable investments, effectively mobilizing private capital towardsnatural capital. Varnika’s expertise spans carbon markets, biodiversity, international tax, and private capital structuring, and her work engages with international mechanisms including the Paris Agreement, the EU Taxonomy, and other ESG frameworks.

Prior to joining CAM, Varnika helped establish the ESG & Impact practice at Kirkland & Ellis’ London office and was previously an Associate in their Tax practice. Varnika also completed a judicial law clerkship at the Supreme Court of India.

Alongside her work at CAM, Varnika co-leads the “Legal Aspects of Nature-Based Solutions” cluster at the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law Climate Change Law Specialist Group, serves as an Editor for the Carbon & Climate Law Review, and is pursuing a Masters in Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge as a Delphis Eco Game Changers bursary recipient. Varnika holds dual degrees with gold medals in liberal arts and law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and has been recognized with the Legal500 ESG Rising Star Award 2025 and the Sustainable Company Awards Rising Star 2024.

Yiota Michou
Manager, Investments

Yiota has over 12 years of experience in investment management, private equity and M&A advisory, with strong engagement in climate change management and impact investing. Yiota is currently an Investment Manager at Climate Asset Management and has worked on the deployment of the first vintage of the Natural Capital Fund, integration of ESGI initiatives and asset management of the Fund’s US forestry and environmental asset projects.

Prior to joining Climate Asset Management in 2021, Yiota was an Investment Manager at the Welcome Trust, UK's largest charitable foundation with AUM of c. £30 billion, where she spent around 6 years in executing and managing direct private investments. Previously, Yiota worked at Rothschild & Co, covering M&A and Strategic Advisory processes across EMEA, held placements at GE Capital and Citi among others and set up a social impact enterprise in Greece. Yiota is a CFA Charter holder, holds a double Master's degree from Rotterdam School of Management and studied Climate Change Management at the University of Edinburgh, with a focus on land use.

Zi Jian Cheng
Analyst, Investments

Zi joined Climate Asset Management's Nature Based Carbon Strategy team in June 2024 as part of the company's Summer Associate programme. Zi has a year’s experience in management and strategy consulting. He started his career as an associate consultant with Boston Consulting Group in their Singapore office, where his focus was predominantly on the industrial goods and oil & gas sectors. Zi holds a MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and is currently completing his studies for an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College Business School.
